In today's episode of the Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut controversy...

Hrithik Roshan has finally come out and is now advocating for himself on all mediums that he can. Hrithik recently appeared in an interview with Arnab Goswami on Nation Wants To Know, and gave his side of the story. He also appeared in an interview with CNN on Sunday, reiterating his cause.

Many stars like Twinkle Khanna, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Farhan Akhtar came up to Hrithik’s aid on social media after he decided to speak up for himself. Standing up for Kangana, her sister Rangoli Chandel, who has been aggressively defending her sister throughout this saga has chimed in again. Farhan Akhtar, who worked with Hrithik in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), and Lakshya (2004) wrote an open letter regarding the controversy, pointing out that not always women but men also can be a victim of stalking and being harassed, people and media shouldn’t discriminate on the basis of gender. Rangoli responded to Farhan’s open letter questioning her on what basis is he saying that Kangana isn’t cooperating with the cops? Check out her series of tweets here:

In the interview with Arnab, Hrithik also stated that the issue with Kangana began to affect his sense of well being, which forced him to come out in the open and talk about it. He said, ” I realised I was pretending. That’s not strength. It’s fake. I had to do something about it. I have had many moments when I felt that’s it, I need to tell my truth. But people stopped me. I don’t want to blame it on people but I was advised to stop because this is probably the only situation that has had the ability to shift my centre. I like to believe I’m stable. But in that state of mind to come out and talk was not advisable. Not that I’m comfortable right now but one has to grow and understand that somethings just need to be done”
