The Ram Mandir plan gets approval. The Ayodhya Development Authority has approved the blueprint of the Ram Temple that is to be built in Ayodhya. The area of the layout is 2.74 lac square metre and the temple will cover an area of 12,879 sq. metre.
The original design for the Ram temple was prepared in 1998 but there have been several changes over the years. The Bhumi Pujan for the Ram temple was held on August 5, and PM Modi was also a part of the ceremony. The temple authorities will however follow the mandatory rules in regards to the construction of the temple. The temple authorities have already obtained all the required NOCs.
