Rajat Kapoor tried to kiss me eight times when I was 20: Woman recounts ordeal
Two days after Rajat Kapoor issued an apology after two women accused him of sexual harassment, another anonymous woman has called out the actor-turned -filmmaker for his unwarranted advances.
On Monday (October 8), Kapoor and Sons actor found himself in the line of fire when two women accused him of sexual misconduct. One of them is a journalist who stated that during a telephonic interview with Kapoor, he crossed the line and asked her questions such as 'are you as sexy as you sound'.
Another woman narrated the incident where the actor-turned-filmmaker wouldn't stop calling her for a film's shoot and asked her if she knew an empty house.
Now, a third woman has called him out saying that he forcibly tried to kiss her, when all she thought of him was a mentor.
"I trusted him and wanted to work with him and wanted to learn from him. It was all great for the first few ays of our conversation and then the harassment began. I used to call him 'Sir', he used to call me 'little b**ch' and ask me to call him 'master'. I knew what it meant but I always let it go, hoping I was taking my idol all wrong," wrote the woman.
She further mentioned that she moved to Mumbai at the age of 20 and Kapoor persisted on meeting her. She chose a public place thinking that he wouldn't cross the line in front of many people.
"While I spoke of films and my desire to be a director, he was too busy trying to get hands on with me. A reminds, I was 20 at this time. Public did not scare him. Fear of recognition while holding a 20 year old hand did not bother him, as old as his own daughter," added the woman.
She added that when she decided to go home, Kapoor insisted on dropping her. "This was the scariest 45 minutes of my life. Throughout the journey he tried to hold my hand, touch my cheek and I felt the most scared I have felt in my life when he stopped his care somewhere between the sea-link in a dark area. He tried kissing me, not once, not twice, 8 times," she recounted.

In his defense, Rajat Kapoor had earlier issued an apology saying that he has always tried to be a decent man. He wrote, "All my life I have tried to be a decent man, to do the right thing. If however, I have slipped and through my actions or words caused pain or hurt or trauma to absolutely anybody, please accept my apology.I am sorry from the bottom of my heart- and sad that I was the cause of this hurt to another human being. If there is one thing more important to me than even my work, it is to be a good human being. And I have tried to be that person. And now, I will try harder."
