Rajasthan: BJP slams Ashok Gehlot government over Crimes Against Women

There has been an alarming rise in crimes against women in Rajasthan. The state has recorded a 49% spike in such crimes with 6,000 such cases being lodged in just the last year. The BJP has now slammed the Gehlot government over the issue claiming that the government instead of focusing on the issue of law and order in the state, it is busy instead tapping the phones of its political opponents.
BJP spokesperson Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, an MP from Rajasthan, also reiterated his party’s demand for state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s resignation over the phone tapping and while addressing a press conference, Mr. Rathore noted that Rajasthan tops chart in nationwide crime against women as per the NCRB data.
