1. Akshay Kumar Launches ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ For Armed Forces

While celebrating CRPF Valour Day on Sunday, the government launched the new website, ‘bharatkeveer.gov.in’ at Vigyan Bhawan in the presence of Home Minister Rajanth Singh. Also present at the occasion was Akshay Kumar who had come up with the idea of the website by which the general public could donate money to families of martyrs of central paramilitary forces.

People can now donate up to Rs 15 lakh to the families of the martyred jawans and officers of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPGs) via the website.

2. Anushka’s Neighbour Complains to BMC About Her Electric Box. LOL!

According to a report, Anushka Sharma’s neighbour in her Badrinath Tower apartment in Mumbai’s Versova area, has complained to the BMC about the actress having illegally installed an electric junction box in the lobby to her flats. As per the complainant Sunil Batra, Anushka, who reportedly owns the entire 20th floor of Badrinath Tower, has also flouted several other BMC laws while renovating and modifying her flat.

However, according to Mumbai Mirror, Anushka Sharma’s spokesperson has denied Batra’s allegations and has said that the electric junction box was placed after getting all necessary permissions from the authorities.

4. Sakshi Tanwar & Ram Kapoor Pair up Once More for Ekta Kapoor

Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (2011) chemistry has left its mark on Indian television. But the stellar on-screen couple is coming back together for Ekta Kapoor. This time, it’s for a web series titled Karr Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat.

Balaji ALT, Ekta Kapoor’s digital avatar, is flagging off its web dramas with Sakshi and Ram’s show, thought it has has several other shows in the pipeline too. The trailer has just been released and by the look of it, the TV stars are all set to re-create the magic. Watch it here:

5. Slain Qawwal Amjad Sabri’s Family Wants to Leave Pakistan

The family of Pakistan's renowned Sufi Qawwal Amjad Sabri, who was killed by Taliban militants last year, wants to leave the country as they feel "unsafe".

"We are not comfortable with the security provided and we feel we are being watched. That is why we are trying to leave the country," said Sabri's brother Azmat.
