Quad nations to display Naval might; US, Japan, Australia & India sail together

High tempo of operations is currently underway between the navies of these countries, war at exercise is being undertaken. Phase 1 of the 24th edition of Malabar 2020 naval exercise which started on November 3 concluded yesterday with navies of India, US, Japan and Australia participating in the exercise in the Bay of Bengal.

The main agenda behind this exercise is to strengthen and promote an open, inclusive Indo-Pacific and a rules-based international order. The second phase of the 24th edition of this maritime exercise has been scheduled on November 20.As the navies show of strength, china spooks in apprehension.

In a press release, the Indian Navy said, "The exercise witnessed live weapon firings, surface, anti-air, and anti-submarine warfare drills, joint manoeuvres and tactical procedures leading up to a culmination with advanced War-at-Sea exercise."
