Metro 7 that will connect Dahisar (East) and Andheri (East) is set to miss its December 2019 deadline owing to delay in finalising contracts for the supply of rolling stock. When work began on the Metro 7, the MMRDA had announced that it would be completed by December 2019. Currently, 70 per cent of the civil work for Metro 7 is complete and civil work on Metro 2A is also at a similar stage.
