1. Group Chases Away Man Trying To Rape Woman, Then Gang-Rapes Her: Cops
A 21-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by five men at a park in Noida, the police said on Friday. She had gone to meet a friend to ask for a job in the city near Delhi. Police said her friend also molested her.
Four of the six men including the woman's friend involved in the crime at Noida Sector 63 have been arrested, senior police officer Vaibhav Krishna said, adding she was gang-raped on Wednesday night. "Two are still on the run," Mr Krishna said.
2. Decomposed Body Of Lucknow Girl, Missing For A Week, Found Near Her Home
A highly decomposed body of a 10-year-old girl was found on the outskirts of Lucknow. The body of the girl, who had been missing since November 8, was found on Thursday evening in the Gosainganj area, about 200 metres from her house and the left leg, probably eaten by a wild animal, was missing.
According to police, the locals saw the body and informed them but were not able to identify it.

4. Kolkata Gang Rape: NCW Member Says Shelter Broke Rules, Should Be Shut Down
National Commission for Women (NCW) member Chandramukhi Devi said the Kolkata shelter housing the mentally-challenged gang rape victim was unsafe and should be shutdown for flouting of rules. Chandramukhi was in Kolkata on Friday to investigate the early Tuesday morning shocker.
The 38-year-old victim, who walked out unchecked from the Seba Old Age Home in the Panchasayar area on Monday night, was allegedly abducted and gang raped. There was no security at the old-age home to prevent her from going out at an unsafe hour. The woman was raped first inside a car and then on a desolate field in the southern outskirts of Kolkata before being thrown off the running vehicle.

5. Latest Arrests in Kushinagar Mosque Blast Case: Ex-Major, His Grandfather
Four days after an explosion occurred at a mosque at Bairagipatti village in Turqpatti police station area of UP’s Kushinagar district on Monday afternoon, a former Army Major and his grandfather — prime accused in the case — were arrested on Friday, taking the total number of arrests to six.
Main accused Qutubuddin Ansari and his grandson Dr Ashfaq, former Army Major (Medical Corps), had been on the run since the blast.

6. Mumbai: Stopped From Taking Bike to School, Teen Sets Self on Fire
A 17-year-old boy set himself ablaze at his school on Friday after his father, a police constable, allegedly refused to allow him to take his bike to school. A student of Class XI at school in Kalamboli, he has suffered 90 per cent burns.
An officer from Kalamboli police said that in the morning, the teenager had a fight with his father after the latter did not allow him to take his bike to school, as he did not have a driving license.

7. Four-Year-Old Girl Crushed to Death Under Wheels of Mini Truck in Hyderabad
In a tragic incident, a four year-old girl who was playing in front of her house was crushed to death under the wheels of a speeding mini truck at Jubilee Hills in the city on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Barsa Joshi, 4, a resident of road no 41 in Jubilee Hills. Speaking to the media, police sub-inspector Soma Naveen Reddy said that a speeding mini truck carrying construction material rammed the toddler.

8. NIA Court Sentences Five to Jail Terms in Khagragarh Blast
A special NIA court on Friday, 15 November, sentenced five accused in the Khagragarh blast case to varying terms from five years to six years in jail after convicting them for conspiracy and waging war against the country and under various provisions of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
The five had pleaded guilty for the blast, in which two suspected terrorists were killed and a third was injured while they were making bombs and explosive devices in a rented house at Khagragarh in Burdwan district of West Bengal.
Indian National Arrested for Attempting to Rape Nepali Girl
An Indian national was arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a girl in Nepal's Dhading district, police said here on Friday.
The 30-year-old accused, a resident of Ayodhya town in Uttar Pradesh, was on a business trip to Dhading, police said.
The man deals in clothes, they said.
The man was arrested from Gajuri area of Dhading for attempting to rape a 21-year-old Nepali girl, police said.
