Punjab Civic body polls result to be out; Will AAP leave a strong footprint?

Punjab Civic poll result is expected to be out today and the counting of votes has already begun. The elections were conducted in 8 Municipal Corporations and over 2,000 wards. 71.3% voter turnout was reported overall. Akali Dal, Congress, BJP, and the Aam Aadmi Party are competing against each other in these civic body polls. The elections are of crucial importance since these are the first elections that are being held amidst the farmers' agitation against the three contentious farm laws. It is also being reported that there is heavy deployment of police personnel outside the counting centers. While Congress already has an edge, since the party has been supporting the farmers' agitation right from the start, will the Akali Dal manage to beat Congress?
