Pt 1: The Muslim Gaurakshaks | A Journey With The Gaurakshaks Of Ramgarh | 101 Underground

Doctor VC decides to meet a group of Muslims engaged in the traditionally Hindu practice of ‘Gauseva’.

Located on the border of Rajasthan and Haryana, Ramgarh is home to several groups of gausevaks or gaurakshaks, the often vigilante protectors of the cow. Interestingly, some of these groups are Muslim. What makes them take up the cause of cow 'seva’, and do they get along with their Hindu brethren? Doctor VC set off to find out.

Beneath the surface lies the seedy underbelly, the black market that supplies our insatiable appetite for sin. 101 Underground tells stories of sex, sleaze, drugs, and violence. From militants to child traffickers in Varanasi, we interview the men and women making a killing outside the mainstream.
