12 Feb 2021: Prior to global debut, 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 teased
Ahead of its world premiere on February 16, German automaker Porsche has released a teaser video of its 2022 911 GT3 sports car.
As for the highlights, the upcoming vehicle will have a sporty look and an upmarket cabin with high-tech features. It will draw power from a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated, flat-six engine sourced from the 991.2 Speedster.

The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 will have a sporty look, featuring a sloping roofline, a muscular bonnet, oval-shaped headlights, sleek ORVMs, and a wide air dam.
It will have 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
On the rear, a large wing, a single wrap-around taillight, and dual exhaust tips will be available.
Fact: Power and performance
The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 will reportedly draw power from a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated, flat-six engine that will generate 510hp of maximum power at 9,000rpm. The mill should be linked to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PKD gearbox for handling transmission duties.
Interiors: A peek inside the cabin
The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 will have a luxurious 2-seater cabin with auto climate control and a 3-spoke multifunctional power steering wheel.
It will house a touchscreen infotainment system enabled with support for the latest connectivity facilities.
For ensuring the safety of the passengers, multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, crash sensors, an engine immobilizer, and a rear-view camera should be available.

Details related to the pricing and availability of the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 will be revealed at the unveiling event on February 16. However, it should carry a starting price-tag of around $1,45,000 (approximately Rs. 1.05 crore).
