Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the parliament on the first day of the budget session. In the address, the Prime Minister said 'This decade is very important for India. The Budget session is key for India's development'. Further, the Prime Minister said that he expects this budget session to be fruitful for the Indian people and wishes that the member of parliament will keep their interest in mind while deliberating on the session. The Prime Minister also added that the govt has already given mini budgets to the states to deal with the challenging year of 2020 in the wake of the pandemic that should be considered in the discussion.
