President Ram Nath Kovind met Indian community at Japan's Tokyo. He also attended the reception hosted by Indian community here. While addressing the gathering, Ram Nath Kovind said, "I am happy that living away from your home you have mandated your culture and your family values." This is the first presidential visit by an Indian President to Japan after a gap of 19 years. On Monday, President Kovind visited Shinto Meiji Shrine in Tokyo, Japan. The shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shoken.
