Kabul [Afghanistan], May 3 (ANI): Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani strongly reacted at the suicide attack in Kabul, stating that the terror groups were hiding their defeats by conducting such attacks.
The Afghan President, in a statement, said the terrorist groups had suffered unprecedented losses during the operations of the Afghan security forces and such attacks in the capital showed that the terrorist groups were attempting to hide them, reported the Khaama.
Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg also reacted on the attack on the NATO convoy, which had left at least eight civilians dead.
Stoltenberg said, "I condemn the attack on the NATO convoy in Kabul. The fight against terrorism continues. My thoughts are with all those affected."
The blast targetted a convoy of armoured personnel carriers of the Resolute Support Mission forces led by the NATO in Kabul.
The ISIS-Khurasan offshoot of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terror group has claimed the responsibility for the deadly suicide attack. (ANI)
