Kenyan Premier League side Posta Rangers have appointed former Thika United tactician Joseph Ruto as the goalkeeping coach.
The position fell vacant following the departure of Lawrence Webo to AFC Leopards. Ruto will be responsible for tightening of the department that played a major role in the Ranger’s poor campaign last season.
At the same time, the mail delivery side also signed goalkeeper Eliud Emase from the Thika United on a two-year contract. Emase is expected to don the number one jersey for the Sammy Omollo led-side.
"I have watched Emase on several occasions and all I can say is that he is a good goalkeeper. If he settles early, then it will be an advantage for us; he is an experienced goalkeeper who I believe will help us do well in the upcoming season."
Rangers are reportedly in the market for another goalkeeper to act as a cover for Emase.
