Supreme Court On Post-poll violence in West Bengal: Supreme Court issues notice to Centre, West Bengal government and Election Commission of India on a plea seeking SIT probe to investigate into causes and reasons of post-poll violence in West Bengal. As per the report, this violence starts after Mamata Banerjee's party (TMC) has won 13 seats out of 292 seats in west bengal assembly election and BJP won only 77 seat. After his victory several violent incident were reported after supporters of Trinamool Congress and BJP allegedly clashed in various parts of the state since May 2, killing more the 20 people.
