Rajasthan Government Makes Dress Code Optional In Government Colleges After Protest

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje announced in a tweet that the uniform will not be compulsory in government colleges. The dress code rule was applied on the International Women’s Day.

New Delhi, March 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other leaders wished Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on her birthday. The leaders prayed for her long and healthy life.

“Birthday greetings to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje ji. In her long political career, she has assiduously served the people of Rajasthan and our nation. May Almighty bless her with a long life and good health,” tweeted Modi.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also extended their wishes. “I convey my best wishes to Vasundhara Raje ji, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, on her birthday. May God bless her with a long, healthy and successful life,” Jaitley said.

“Many many happy returns of the day Vasundhara Raje . What a coincidence that it is on International Women’s Day. Prayers for your good health and happiness,” Sitharaman tweeted.

Raje came to power with a thumping majority in the 2013 state Assembly elections. The state is scheduled to go to polls later this year.
