PM Modi on Vivekananda being the vision of NEP2020, says ‘It has been revolutionary for India’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled Swami Vivekananda’s statue at Jawaharlal Nehru University campus in New Delhi via virtual presence. He hopes that the statue inspires students and fills them with compassion. He also emphasized the fact that India is now moving forward with the pledge of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, he adds that Swami Vivekananda was a symbol of India’s values and culture. He states that Vivekananda’s vision is the basis of the New Education Policy 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also talks about how inclusion is the basis of the New Education Policy and it is revolutionary in nature. He also adds that the underprivileged section has remained financially excluded. He also says that they have been neglected from basic ideas of human life, like safe drinking water, electricity, housing, and digital banking.
