PM Modi flags off the first-ever driverless Delhi metro train in India

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged the country's first fully automated driverless train service on the Delhi Metro's Magenta Line through video conferencing.

The inauguration program and the introduction of the fully operational National Common Mobility Card on the Airport Express Line were also attended by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi.

The Prime Minister went on to argue that Make in India is extremely necessary for the expansion of metro services because it lowers prices, saves foreign exchange, and provides the country's population with more jobs.

CM Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, meanwhile, congratulated the people of Delhi on the roll-out of the driverless train.
