Prime Minister Narendra Modi chairs a COVID review meeting with the top doctors from across the country amid the surge in COVID cases. India reported close to 3 lakh cases in the last 24 hours, with a shortage in oxygen cylinders and the Remdesvir injection. The meeting comes in the backdrop of the situation which is pretty grim as of now as the ICU beds and the availability of hospital beds are coming down to a very low number.
