1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates Diwali with Jawans at Longewala post in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This is the seventh consecutive year that he is celebrating Diwali with Jawans.
While speaking to the soldiers at Longewala post; he said, 'whether you live on the snowy hills or in the desert, my Diwali is completed by coming to see you.'

3. Pakistan violates ceasefire at the LoC but the Gupkar lobby still wants to have a dialogue. The forces have given a befitting response to Pakistan by decimating their bunker but PDP Chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Mehbooba Mufti want a dialogue with rogue Pakistan. In a tweet, she said, 'If only Indian and Pakistani leadership could rise above their political compulsions and initiate dialogue. Restoring the ceasefire agreed upon and implemented by Vajpayee ji and Musharaf Sahab is a good place to start.'
