PM Covid meet: Incentivises pass outs & students of medical & nursing courses to join Covid duties

The active cases of covid-19 positive have been increasing for the last one month simultaneously with fatalities. Prime Minister Modi chairs a COVID review meet to focus on manpower augmentation and medical facilities continue. In the PM-led meeting, the medical and nursing pass-outs and pursuing students will be brought on the ground for the Covid duties. With the shortage of oxygen, ICU beds, Remdesivir, vaccines, India is also facing a shortage of medical manpower or doctors and nurses. Putting the concern in the main view the decision has been taken. Now the detailed information will come later for the same. In the same meeting, PM discussed pushing the date of the NEET exam this year.
