Prime Minister Modi chairs meeting with CMs, states safety of hospitals top most priority

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a meeting with Chief Ministers of 10 states with the most number of COVID-19 cases in the state. Right in the beginning, PM said that the reason India succeeded in a fight with the first wave of coronavirus last year was that we fought together and united. In this meeting he asked for the same to all the CMs, to fight together and united again with the second wave of Covid-19. Speaking on the oxygen crisis in the nation, he said, there is a continuous effort of increasing the supply of oxygen in all the parts of the country, all the concerned ministries and departments are working together to achieve the goal. PM has also made a point on stopping the black-marketing or hoarding the oxygen or essential medications in the market. He asked all the CMs to ensure the free flow of these essentials in their states.
