Pre-wedding shoots have really caught in India as well as around the world. Now, to-be hitched couples are not just thinking about where they want to get married or about the preparations for the immediate day. They want a shoot narrating their story and their life together. It has become a trend that is not going to die out anytime soon. Couples are spending thousands of rupees to get the best team working on their pre-wedding video and photographs and everything needs to be perfect.

Styling is a big part of pre-wedding shoots. The look and feel of the video depends entirely on what the couple is wearing and how comfortable they are in their own skin and with each other. Whether you want a romantic beach shoot or a casual evening around the house together feel for your pre-wedding shoot, you need to get the style just right. 1. For a classy Bollywood Shoot

If your love story is nothing short of Bollywood movie material, you can go for a classy shoot by donning a gorgeous sari. According to the stylists, a plain chiffon sari in a warm pastel color like coral, rose quartz, lemon will give the bride-to-be a dreamy and sensuous look. The outfit can be paired with minimalist jewelry, like charm bracelets or thin gold bands for rings, and long thin dangling earrings. Meanwhile, the man can be dressed in a tux and crisp white shirt and pants. Whether it’s shot during the day or the evening, the classic look is always delightful to look at, especially on couples.

2. For a Casual Look

If chilling and cuddling on the couch with your partner is the perfect idea of getting natural photos clicked, then embrace the athleisure bliss for your pre-wedding shoot, the stylists suggest. Grab a bucket of popcorn and TV remote, and watch your most favourite romantic movies together and get some good candid photos done. Luxe velvet joggers, message tee, or golden high tops sneakers speak sassy yet comfy look. Snug up to him in your coziest best. 3. For an all-out Ethnic Look

For a lot of Indian couples, the ethnic pre-wedding shoot has its own charm. Beautiful dazzling outfits, a regal setting and the couple romancing each other on the marbled steps of a palatial location. Now who’s not going to find THAT appealing? A colorful lehenga or anarkali will be the perfect excuse for the bride-to-be to show off her twirls. Heavy ethnic earrings and lots of bangles would complement the look, say the experts. For the man, either a suave formal jacket suit or an elegant sherwani is perhaps a good idea.

Would like your pre-wedding shoot to look as sunny as your life with your partner. Go for a sunkissed shoot and pour in some pretty pastels in monotone dressing and you will be your radiant best under the sun, say the experts. The outfit for women could be powder pink electro-pleated midi skirt, with a tonal crop top and matching heels. The thumb rule is to stick to one color. You could throw in a denim jacket to contrast the mood. Men could sport a micro printed shirt or a fun ditsy pattern off-setted with straight trousers and sharp brogues. 5. For a Countryside shoot

Planning to travel to the countryside for a love-filled shoot with your partner? Dress accordingly. Experts suggest a short sun dress with a vivacious floral print and a large straw hat for the ladies. The men could perhaps throw on a tee with denim overalls, for a shoot out in the fields. A shirt with a funky bow tie and a pair of khaki or cargo shorts is also a great idea for men.

6. For a vintage shoot

Wanting to vintage? We don’t see why not! The experts suggest soft curls, pretty floral blouse and an intricate high waist skirt for the ladies. A touch of highlighter on your cheeks and dark lips are just right for the night. A backdrop of the couple dancing at a party could also work as something different. Keep the accessories minimal and stay fuss free. The men could sport a playful tie or bow-tie and a solid blazer.
