Piers Morgan reignites Gordon Ramsay vegan feud as he claims TV chef said he was ‘allergic’ to the diet

Piers Morgan has clapped back at Gordon Ramsay after he launched into a foul-mouthed tirade over Morgan's criticism of his new vegan roast dinner.

MasterChef US judge Ramsay previously blasted Morgan for slamming the new dish on his Bread Street Kitchen menus, and in signature Ramsay style told him to go “f*** himself”.

But the Good Morning Britain presenter was having none of it as he hit out at the Kitchen Nightmares host, claiming he previously said he was “allergic” to vegans.

Morgan tweeted: “Is this the same @GordonRamsay who when asked in 2016 if he had any allergies, replied 'vegans' - and who last year tweeted that PETA stands for 'People Eating Tasty Animals'?”

Standard Online has contacted representatives of Ramsay for comment.

Morgan’s savage response comes after he told Ramsay his vegan roast looks “utterly revolting”.

“Oh FFS Ramsay… not you as well? This looks utterly revolting,” he tweeted, adding some vomiting emojis to further emphasise his point.

The tweet was brought to Ramsay’s attention during his appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden earlier this week.

Ramsay responded: “So Piers Morgan is now a food critic?! Go and f*** yourself! Seriously! Really?

“Veganism is on the rise, we’ve got to adapt and I just have to eat a slice of humble pie.”

Morgan has become known for his anti-vegan views after he famously slammed bakery chain Greggs for launching a vegan sausage roll earlier this year, branding the food outlet “PC-ravaged clowns”.

He was then forced to try the new product live on Good Morning Britain, where he was filmed gagging and ‘throwing up’ into a bucket after taking a bite.
