After two unsuccessful attempts in Athens and Beijing, Gagan Narang clinched the bronze medal in the men's 10-metre air rifle event of the 2012 London Olympics. In the final round, Narang had a series of 10.7, 9.7, 10.6, 10.7, 10.4, 10.6, 9.9, 9.5, 10.3 and 10.7 to give India its first medal from the London Games.
