Asifa Khan

Asifa Khan: The most recent entrant into this club is the articulate Gujarat BJP leader Asifa Khan. A Gujarat-based journalist with nearly two decades of experience, Khan joined the BJP in October 2012 and has already emerged as Modi's most vocal Muslim backer.

"I joined the BJP solely because of Mr Modi," Khan said. She asserts that each and every Gujarati woman swears by Modi. " His popularity among women is phenomenal. Women in Gujarat are grateful that they can roam about freely even late at night, without any fear. In rural areas, women admire Modi because of the excellent work done by the Sakhi Mandals he formed."  (From Facebook)
