Phone tapping case: IPS officer Rashmi Shukla summoned by Mumbai Police once again

IPS Rashmi Shukla has been summoned again by the Mumbai police in a connection with the alleged phone tapping case. As she is in Hyderabad at present, she initially made a request with the Mumbai cyber police to send her a questionnaire for her responses because she doesn’t want to travel the state due to coronavirus. This request made by her has been denied by the Mumbai Police and she has been given time till 3rd May to appear before the investigating agency. Now this seems to be a battle between the centre and the state because at one hand the CBI has recorded her statement in Hyderabad in relation to the ‘100 crore vasooli case’, on the other hand Mumbai Police wants her to come and join the investigation in the ‘phone tapping case’.
