Pfizer India to aid in fight against COVID; to provide medicines worth $70 Million

Pfizer has decided to spend $70 Million to help India fight back covid. The biopharmaceutical company is in talks with the government to make its vaccine available for Indian citizens. At present, two manufacturers are supplying vaccines in India, including Covidshield and covaxing. Sputnik V vaccine arrived a couple of days ago in the country and will be soon put to use. Pfizer is now seeing the emergency approval to distribute its vaccine as well. It has also said to help the country with medicines. This initiative will help boost the health infrastructure in the country. The discussions are taking place and we hope that the vaccine will soon be imported to India.
