People living in COVID hotspot area should get vaccinated in 6 weeks: Medanta Chairman

New Delhi, May 15 (ANI): Medanta Chairman Dr Naresh Trehan on May 15 said that people should get vaccinated in 6 weeks where there is COVID hotspot and vaccination gap should be increased where cases are going down. Dr Trehan said, “It is not good for people to get panic for vaccination. It’s my personal view that people should get vaccinated in 6 weeks where there is COVID hotspot and also where the cases are going down, vaccination gap should be increased.” “People should isolate themselves as soon as they develop symptoms. Most people who have cough, cold, sore throat or fever mostly turn out to be positive. They should immediately isolate themselves. So that others can be protected,” the doctor said.
