Los Angeles, Dec 15 (IANS) Actor Paul Walker was laid to rest two weeks after his tragic death in a car crash. His family and close friends were present for his burial.

Walker, whose remains were cremated Thursday, was buried Saturday at California's Forest Lawn Memorial Park, the iconic Hollywood cemetery where a slew of celebrities are buried, including Liberace and Brittany Murphy, reports dailymail.co.uk.

An American flag was allegedly folded in a triangle and displayed during the ceremony, and then given to the star's family.

The "Fast & Furious" star died in a crash after a charity car show in Santa Clarita, California Nov 30. He was 40.
