Paresh Mesta alleged murder case: VHP protest turns violent

A protest held by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) turned violent causing frenzy in the Sirsi region of Karnataka. The protest was held against the killing of 19 Hindu activists, including Paresh Mesta. Members of VHP along with BJP leaders marched from Gandhi Statue on Vidhana Soudha to the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday to submit a memorandum to Governor Vajubhai Vala seeking his intervention. The memorandum also demands National Investigation Agency probe in the case.
