Param Bir Singh’s accusations more dangerous than gelatine: Fadnavis demands Anil Deshmukh’s resignation

Mumbai, Mar 20 (ANI): In an explosive turn in the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare case and Sachin Waze case, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, in a letter to Maharasthra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, accused state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of demanding extortion money from Waze. Deshmukh, however, dismissed the allegations in a tweet and alleged Singh is “trying to save himself.” Amidst the turmoil, Leader of opposition (LoP) in Maharashtra Assembly and BJP leader, Devendra Fadnavis, has demanded resignation of Deshmukh, terming the allegations “more dangerous than the gelatine” that was found in the car parked outside Ambani’s residence. “The allegations made by former Police Commissioner of Mumbai, Param Bir Singh in a letter are extremely serious...The seriousness of these allegations showed because of the few chats attached with the letter. We want the resignation of Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and if he doesn’t do it, CM Thackrey should take action against him and the investigation should be unbiased,” Fadnavis said in Mumbai on March 20.
