Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif gets temporary relief in Panamagate case as SC orders JIT probe

In a temporary relief for Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Panamagate case, the Pakistan Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the formation of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe how money was transferred to Qatar. The apex court ordered the JIT to submit a detailed report on the matter within the next sixty days. The court also ordered Sharif's two sons, Hasan and Hussain, to appear before the JIT when required. Post the verdict, the Prime Minister's daughter Maryam Nawaz, tweeted two photos of Sharif, his family and party leaders celebrating the order.
