Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is being trolled on Twitter for posting a quote by Indian poet and artist Rabindranath Tagore while attributing it to Kahlil Gibran. Imran posted an inspirational quoted by Tagore which read, "I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy." He captioned the tweet saying, "Those who discover and get to understand the wisdom of Gibran's words, cited below, get to live a life of contentment." The tweet was quick to go viral on social media with internet users pointing out that the quote was not by the Lebanese writer Kahlil Gibran, but the Nobel Peace Prize winner Rabindranath Tagore. The former cricketer soon became the butt of all jokes with Twitterati asking him to get his facts correct.

Last month, Imran Khan was trolled online for breaking the diplomatic protocol at the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit held in Kyrgyzstan's capital. Twitterati mocked at the leader after the politician was seen sitting while other dignitaries stood to welcome various heads of states arriving in the hall.
