Melbourne, August 2 (ANI): Australian spinner Stephen O'Keefe is not bothered if he is seen as a Twenty20 specialist by national selectors.
O'Keefe is one of four players, including skipper Cameron White, in Australia's 13-man squad for the two T20 clashes against Sri Lanka at Kandy starting on Saturday night, who will not take part in the other forms of the game during the tour.
"Nowadays you've got to try and pride yourself on all three forms. That tends to be the nature of cricket at the moment where the schedules are getting quite packed and demanding," O' Keefe was quoted as saying by, The Sydney Morning Herald.
"Your ability to adapt is going to become crucial so something I think all cricketers should pride themselves on is the ability to translate their skills across all three forms," he added.
O' Keefe said he is looking forward to play in the Twenty20's against Sri Lanka, but added that he is focussing on the other forms of the game as well.
"Hopefully they produce a nice big bunsun burner (turning wicket) and there won't be any problems but we will see what happens," he said. (ANI)
