Over 1200 obsolete laws have been scrapped by Centre since 2014: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the government is committed to scrap more and more obsolete laws in the country. The Prime Minister said that the digitalisation in the judiciary process has decreased the time level in the Judgment process in the courts. The Prime Minister was attending the closing ceremony of Allahabad High Court's 150th year celebrations. Chief Justice of India JS Khehar, Union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, UP Chief Minster Yogi Adityanath, several Supreme Court judges and chief justices of various high courts attended the Allahabad High Court event.
