Ouch: Taapsee Pannu wore socks with sandals AGAIN, and teamed it with a velvet jacket

With only a week left for the release of the highly anticipated film, Judwaa 2, the promotional events of the film have become really frequent and high-paced.

While it's simply pleasing to have Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan make frequent pubic appearances in their super-trendy clothes, the third member of the star cast, Taapsee Pannu, has been playing too experimental.

Though we've often found ourselves praising the crazy fashion innovations that Taapsee has pulled off like a boss, her recent outfits are an embroiling story of her fashion experiments gone wrong.

Though we still hadn't gotten over from a recent look that Taapsee pulled off where she wore a pair of grey socks with open-toe stilettos, she has done it again.

The Judwaa 2 team was on the sets of dance reality show, Dance Plus 3, where Taapsee showed up in an outrageously tacky outfit.

The starlet wore a black double-breasted, strapless top with a lovely sweetheart-neckline, teamed with a well-matched overlapping skirt. We liked how the chunky golden buttons lent a subtle touch of glamour to the black separates.

While the basics were just fine, Taapsee ruined the ensemble with a shambolic honey-hued blazer that boasted of humongous black non-geometric polkas. From the poor colour-coding of the blazer to its velvety look, it was downright weird, while the not-so-neat speckles of embellishments all over it made things even worse.

Apart from how the ensemble was deprived of elegance, we really disliked Taapsee's choice of teaming a pair of open-toe mesh, ankle-length stockings with those decent open-toe stilettos. The stockings only ripped the ensemble off whatever class it had.

And that's how every little element of the number made a generous contribution in making the look really muddled.

We've admired you for your bold fashion experiments, Taapsee, but it's time to draw a line.
