The well-traveled coach is hoping to end Bucs' four-year trophy drought and explained his selection criteria

Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic says his side has been busy working on finishing ahead of their clash with Chippa United .

The Soweto giants will lock horns with the Chilli Boys in the 2018 Telkom Knockout Cup first round (round of 16) clash at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Sredojevic's side has netted three goals in its last three matches in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and the Serbian trainer feels that his side needs to improve in front of goal.

“We would like to say there are some polishing details we need, especially upfront in terms of finishing," Sredojevic said on The Citizen .

The former St George and Villa SC head coach is also looking to strike the right balance between defending and attacking.

"This is what we will be focusing on, but at the same time, we also have to take care of the defending and attacking so that we strike a balance,” he continued.

“We have no right have any periods of sleep. You need to have a perfect balance, tightening up at the back and scoring upfront," Micho explained.

The 2010 Sudanese Premier League title-winning coach is hoping to guide the Buccaneers to their first major trophy since 2014.

“For that to happen, we shall pay the strongest possible attention to the deepest details to get the performance and results we are looking for. We really want to get through to the next round," he added.

“In every competition we go in with the highest possible ambition to go all the way and win," he concluded.
