Mumbai, August 21: Oppo F9 Pro smartphone will finally make its India debut today. The brand has launched a video ad featuring the beautiful actress Deepika Padukone and Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra to promote the new phone in the Indian market. The mid-range smartphone space, the new Oppo F9 Pro will sport waterdrop display along with VOOC fast charging, among some of the features. The ad revolves around the lives of Deepika and Sidharth and how the new Oppo F9 Pro smartphone will help them to stay connected. The ad highlights the main VOOC fast charging technology feature, which gives 2-hours of calling on a single charge of 5 minutes. The ad questions that when life moves at a fast pace, should a discharged phone slow us down.

In the TVC, we see Deepika Padukone leaving her house after charging the F9 Pro for 5 minutes. She later spends 2 hours talking to Sidharth Malhotra over the phone while she commutes to his house in the car. The TVC quite clearly shows that the F9 Pro lasts for 2-hours on just 5 minutes of charge.


Following are some of the specifications of the new Oppo F9 Pro. It will feature a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixel and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The handset will also come with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 per cent. For photography, the new Oppo F9 Pro will feature a dual rear camera module featuring a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The handset will also carry a 25MP selfie shooter upfront with AI capabilities.
