Only 11.11 Per Cent Candidates Cleared UP TET 2017

The declared results suggested that 47,975 candidates i.e. 17.34 per cent passed the primary level exam and 41,888 candidates i.e. 7.87 per cent cleared the upper primary level.

Allahabad, Dec 17: Around 11.11 per cent of the total candidates who appeared for Uttar Pradesh Teacher’s Eligibility Test (UP TET) 2017 could clear the examination, says other media reports. The results were declared on Friday on the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

It has been reported by other media that, only 2,76,636 candidates out of total 3,49,192 registered candidates appeared for the primary level test and 5,31,712 candidates out of 6,27,568 registered candidates appeared for the upper primary level test. The declared results suggested that 47,975 candidates i.e. 17.34 per cent passed the primary level exam and 41,888 candidates i.e. 7.87 per cent cleared the upper primary level.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, the secretary of examination regulatory authority, Sutta Singh said, “The result will be subject to the decision of Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court in the writ petition bearing number 2822 of 2017”. The HT also reported from other reports that candidates can get the certificate and mark sheets after the final decision.
