Chiranjeevi's 150th film Khaidi No 150, which released on the auspicious occasion of Sankranti, has reportedly raked in more than Rs 164 crore at the box office.
On Sunday, the makers release a poster which said that the film has earned Rs 164 crore globally, and that it is the highest in south India in a single language.
It must be noted that Khaidi No 150 had a record breaking opening on its first day and netted more than Rs 47 crore at the box office.
Directed by VV Vinayak, the film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaththi, which had Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead.
Speaking about the stupendous success of the film, actor-producer Ram Charan said, "What better way to foray into production than with Khaidi No 150. The film is truly close to my heart because it is my father's 150th film. The kind of love the audiences have shown in the film is overwhelming and humbling."
Khaidi No 150, which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi, is directed by VV Vinayak. Also starring Kajal Aggarwal, Tarun Arora, Brahmanandam and Ali, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
