Falcao can play as dual striker, says Mourinho

By Martyn Herman LONDON (Reuters) - Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said he could adopt a two-pronged attack with Colombian Radamel Falcao offering more options for the coming season after joining on loan from Monaco. Falcao struggled to impress during a similar spell at Manchester United last season, but Mourinho has great faith in a player who will wear the number nine shirt for Chelsea. Diego Costa shouldered most of the striking burden last season as a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 system, but …

By Ed Osmond LONDON (Reuters) - The signing of Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich was a massive statement of intent by Manchester United. Not since Roy Keane swaggered round the Old Trafford pitch from 1993-2005 have United had a midfield enforcer with the skill, power and strength of character to run the team. New York, Nov 24 (ANI): Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, who dropped out of the White House race, was thought to be the biggest threat to the President's re-election chances, Barack Obama's campaign manager Jim Messina has revealed.

Huntsman, known for his moderate credentials and three outspoken daughters, quit the race after betting big on a New Hampshire primary victory, and then placing third behind Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.

But Messina, during a forum sponsored by Politico, said Huntsman might have been the Republican Party's best chance in the general election.

"We were honest about our concerns about Huntsman. I think Huntsman would have been a very tough general election candidate," the New York Daily News quoted Messina, as saying.

"We looked at his profile in a general election and thought he would have been difficult," he added. (ANI)
