    Predictable Premier League excitement begins

By Steve Tongue LONDON (Reuters) - England's Premier League is undoubtedly one of the most exciting in world football but as it embarks on its 24th season on Aug. 8 is it also becoming one of the most predictable? Last term only Newcastle United and Everton, both of whom dropped down the table, moved more than four places either way, while two of the three promoted clubs went straight back down. While the usual suspects are expected to contest the title, however, none of them have managed to …

Washington, Nov. 19 (ANI): An adviser to Mitt Romney's campaign Carlos Gutierrez has expressed outrage over the presidential candidate's comments that President Barack Obama won his re-election bid by bribing minorities with gifts.

"I was shocked. And frankly I don't think that's why Republicans lost the election," Carlos Gutierrez, Romney's director of Hispanic outreach, said during an appearance on CNN's 'State of the Union'.

"I think we lost the election because the far right of this party has taken the party to a place that it doesn't belong," he said.

According to the Huffington Post, Romney's remarks, made last week in a post-election conference call with donors, sparked Democratic outrage, with even top Republicans repudiating him.

Second-term Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, the first Indian-American to be elected governor, at the Republican Governors Association annual meeting in Las Vegas said that he "absolutely reject[s] that notion, that description."

Now, Gutierrez, a former businessman and director of Romney's Hispanic outreach, is piling on.

"I don't know if he understood that he was saying something that was insulting," Gutierrez said, adding: "The language, the attitude, the body language, that's what Latinos watch." (ANI)
