‘Do not encroach our land’: Assam CM on border dispute with Mizoram and Nagaland

Guwahati (Assam), July 10 (ANI): The Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma on July 10 said that the state's police personnel have been deployed to protect the constitutional boundary of the state from encroachers. “Some tension is going on in both Assam-Nagaland and Assam-Mizoram borders. Assam Police has been deployed to protect our constitutional boundary. Being the gateway to the northeast, we are always open to discussions but do not encroach on our land,” said CM Himanta.
