As part of Nokia Mobile Fan Festival, HMD Global has announced a massive discount on the Nokia 8.1 in India.

In the limited-period sale, the company is offering upto Rs. 6,000 off on the Android One-based premium phone.

Notably, the offer is applicable to both the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants of Nokia 8.1.

Nokia 8.1 (4GB RAM) is available at Rs. 20,999 after a discount of Rs. 6,000 while 6GB RAM variant is listed at Rs. 25,999 after an off of Rs. 4,000.

This offer is available till May 13 on Nokia India e-store.

For offline sale, there is a discount of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 on 4GB and 6GB RAM models, respectively, until May 18.

Additionally, Airtel customers on Nokia 8.1 would get upto 1TB of 4G data on plans starting Rs. 199. Likewise, for postpaid customers, the telco is offering upto 120GB of additional data, a 3-month Netflix subscription, and 1-year Amazon Prime subscription on plans starting Rs. 499.

Design & Display: Meanwhile, here's recalling the Nokia 8.1

Made out of 6000-Series aluminum, the Nokia 8.1 sports a notched display with a slim yet prominent bottom bezel to offer an 81.5% screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the glass casing houses a dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner.

Further, the phone sports a 6.18-inch (1080x2246 pixels) full-HD+ display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support, and 500 nits peak brightness.

On the back, Nokia 8.1 sports a ZEISS optics-based dual camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, dual-pixel autofocus, and OIS, paired with a 13MP secondary sensor with fixed focus.

Up front, the phone gets a single 20MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture, 4-in-1 pixel binning technology for better low-light photography, fixed focus, and AI-powered image enhancing features.

The Nokia 8.1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable upto 400GB).

Further, the phone packs a 3,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and runs stock Android Pie as part of Android One program which promises at least two years of software updates.
