‘No vaccine, no salary’, Ujjain Municipal Corporation issues order

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), May 31 (ANI): In a bid to facilitate COVID vaccination, Ujjain Municipal Corporation issued an order saying that no salary will be paid to those employees who haven’t got their COVID vaccine shots. This move comes as India struggles to vaccinate its population due to vaccine paucity or the reluctant attitude on the part of some people. Civic body's Commissioner, Kshitij Singhal said “We've set up vaccination camp as our employees are exposed to virus, to encourage them; it is being implemented to ensure that if any untoward incident happens, their families are safe”, Sighal added.
