No Tickets Till Sunday, Team India Leaves Hotel But Not Manchester

The Indian team left their team hotel in Manchester on Thursday, after they were knocked out of the World Cup. However, the Men in Blue were left stranded in the city because their tickets could not be arranged after their ‘sudden’ World Cup exit.

Team India, which lost the first semi-final against New Zealand by 18 runs will now have to stay in Manchester till Sunday, 14 July, after their tickets could not be arranged on time.

A BCCI official close to the team has told "Most of the boys will be in Manchester till July 14 and leave from there. Tickets are being booked after the campaign came to an end yesterday.

The West Indies series will be India's next challenge after the World Cup and some of the senior players like Virat Kohli and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah are expected to be rested for the limited-overs leg of the series. The two, however, are expected to be back for the two-match Test series as that will be the start of the Test Championship.
