No scientific proof suggesting COVID spread from animals,’ say senior doctors

New Delhi/Mumbai, May 25 (ANI): Senior doctors while talking to ANI cleared doubts on transmission of COVID-19 from animals to humans. AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria said, “There is no data that shows that the virus spread from animals to humans. We only have data showing that the virus spread from humans to animals as seen in a zoo in New York during the first wave.” Organised Medicine Academic Guild (OMAG) Secretary General Dr Ishwar Gilada said, “People without looking at any scientific proof started leaving their pets on streets.
