No new COVID-19 case in Nagaland

Kohima, Mar 10 (PTI) Nagaland did not report any new COVID-19 case on Wednesday, Health minister S Pangnu Phom said.

The COVID-19 tally in the state remained at 12, 217 while eight more persons recuperated during the day, taking the total number of coronavirus recoveries to 11,963.

'No +ve case of COVID-19 reported today. 8 +ve patient have recovered, one in Dimapur and 7 in Kohima,' the Health Minister said in a tweet.

The state currently has 10 active COVID-19 cases, a health department official said.

The COVID-19 recovery rate is 97.92 per cent, said Director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Denis Hangsing in the daily COVID-19 update.

Altogether 91 people including 10 with comorbidities have succumbed to COVID-19 so far and 153 have migrated to other states, he said.

Nagaland has so far tested a total of 1,32,779 samples for COVID-19, including 75,180 on RT-PCR, 37,403 on TrueNat and 20,196, on Rapid Antigen Test, he said. PTI NBS RG RG
